MakerDAO
One of the main challenges we encountered with the existing protocol designs was how to properly convey Trust and Security through Branding. The key question we aimed to address was how MakerDAO aims to build a permissionless open economy and provide secure, reliable, trustworthy liquidity through transparency.MakerDAO is the core of Maker governance, consisting of MKR holders and delegates who make transparent on-chain decisions to improve and grow DAI and the Maker Protocol. The DAO wanted to improve the understanding of DAI’s various use cases as regards with MakerDAO Protocol and also evaluate the team’s comprehesion of how MakerDAO differentiates itself from other protocols. Our web3 design studio was tasked with providing UX and visual design services, user testing, and a component library to help MakerDAO achieve their long-term goal of becoming the leading use case driving adoption of DAI in decentralised finance.

Deliverables
In support of MakerDAO’s objectives, we offered a comprehensive range of services, including UX and visual design, user testing, and the development of a component library. Collaborating closely with the MakerDAO team, In creating a reusable component library to maintain consistency and efficiency in design implementation. We thoroughly grasped their requirements and deliverables, ensuring successful project completion within an efficient eight-week timeframe.
Upon completion of the MakerDAO project, our final deliverables comprised a desktop prototype catering to both user flows, a component library for design consistency, and valuable user research feedback and the collaboration resulted in a visually appealing and user-friendly design that effectively conveyed trust and security.
